Handwriting can be a difficult task, especially for students with developmental disabilities. This course will teach strategies to promote improved handwriting using technology. Technology is motivating for children and it’s wonderful if it can be paired with academics. This course is for parents of children of all ages, from preschool to teenagers! A variety of apps will be demonstrated including:
- Apps to encourage proper letter formation for preschool aged children
- Apps to promote handwriting practice and written expression for school aged students
- Apps for handwriting compensation techniques for secondary students
If possible, please bring your devices to practice along with the instructor.
